'It’s good for the environment, it helps to keep things clean. It’s cheaper for me I don't have to pay taxi's or anything. I don't get stuck in the traffic you know, I just keep going. The taxi driver hit me once, they don't respect me, they think “how can you ride here”, but I just want to have a piece of street for me to ride in. But I keep pushing, I believe I can make it. I've been riding for two years and I still survive. As a single mom with two children it is sometimes hard to make ends meet. It’s really tough. That is why the bicycle helps me too. Sometimes I take my boy to the creche with the bicycle. I'm a visual artist, I paint and stitch and things like that. I make clothes, lampshades, I recycle materials, all kind of things.'
